Jagex is a wordwide, british gaming company made in java. The owner "Paul Gower" Said earlier that Jagex stands for " Ja"va "G"aming "Ex"perts. Theyr most populare game was made in 1999 and published in 2001 as "Runescape." With runescape they have made alot of money by making it possible to pay for extra features (Membership)  Jagex has over 450 employes and was founded in 1999 by Andrew Gower and Paul Gower. In 2011 they earned  £18,794,000.

In theyr earlier try of getting rid of bots, and other cheaters with something called Bot Nuke where they ban alot of bots in one day, they lost alot of money because some of the bots used stolen creditcards, and so Jagex had to refund the membership of the following victim. Therefor they made a game called Solomon's and squeel, to make up after the money after theyr last Bot nuke.
