Popcorn also known as popping corn is a type of corn that puffs when heated. Popcorn was first discovered for thousands of years ago by the Guatemalans. They have found corns from 1900s which has a color of purple. During the great depression popcorn were sold for about 5-10 cents per bag and after that became populare. During World War II the sugar productions became low and the Americans had to eat like 3 times more popcorn tan they had before.Popcorn are often solf in theaters and are salted with melted butter on and has been sold since 1914 like that. Popcorn are not recommended for children under four because of the risk of choking.
