A meme can be a picture or something to say, like "True Story" or "*TROLLFACE*". This was originaly created by Richard Dawkins which made a book with memes in, called "The Selfish Gene" He was inspired by other people. It is sad that the original creator is so unknown because these memes are so, so popular nowadays. People make animations, comics, websites fully with this.
Memes has been taken to the next stage by the World Wide Web (WWW, Internet). Suddenly alot of people started using it. After awhile your just saying like TrollFace automaticly because everyone knows what you mean with it!
