We celebrate christmas because birth of Jesus. Christmas is higly rated as the biggest celebration, and it have been celebrated for a long time. This celebration is generally on 25th December, but some countries celebrate it on the 24th. There are millions of people around the world who is following this old tradition. This tradition is also christian, but it have made it through so several non-christians celebrate christmas too.
On christmas day you are supposed to go to church, give gifts to friends and family, maybe to a homeless man/woman? Spend time with family and decorate your house with christmas decorations, like angels, chistmas trees, pictures and santas! Most people make a very good dinner on this special day, like turkey! The santa claus may be the most recognizable figure ever.
