Pac-Man is one of the most popular old games in the world. The genre of the game is arcade, and it's devoloped by japaneese company called Namco. The game was first released in Japan May 22 1980! After the release of the famous game Pac-Man, it became a big hit. Everybodu knew what that was all about, and it inspired other things too, like animated television series. One of the song which was in the game was awarded as one of the top 10 hits single!Many people say that Pac-Man is the game which started gaming history. They earned 2,5 billion quarters in the 1990s, a quarters is worth 25 cent. Pac-Man succeded in starting a new gaming genre!
The idea of the game is that you are a pellet eating dude. When you have eaten all the pellets on the stage, they will take you to the next one. While you are collecting those pellets, there are 4 different "Ghosts, goblins" or whatever you want to call them, who are trying to take you. To avoid these ones you will need a strategy.
There have been several contests in pacman playing.
