How to be a gaming youtuber

Before We Start: You may be asking yourself, "Why am I taking advice from a channel who only have 70 subs?" and I don't blame you for that. However, my channel and this channel has went through many reincarnations and we are hoping it sticks this time. I have been a Youtuber since 2012 that's 5 whole years and have always been striving for improvement.

Now, here is my personal list of things you need as a gaming channel.
  1. Equipment
  2. Sound + Commentary
  3. Editing
  4. Thumbnails
  5. Engaging Titles
  6. SEO
  7. Promotion
1. EquipmentThe MOST important thing in a successful gaming channel is the equipment. If you would think about it this way, would you rather watch The Avengers on a 1990's phone or on quality camera equipment(kind of irrelevant, but I am currently watching this movie lol). Just like The Avengers needs quality cameras, you need a quality microphone. The microphone market can be quite confusing since there are so many and so many have different features, however most of these Microphones have video reviews on Amazon and Youtube you can decide what kind of mic that you like the most. If you are starting out I'd personally recommend the Blue Snowball. It may not be super cheap for $50 dollars, but for the quality that you get out of it, it is truly worth it.

So you have the audio down, Now what? Well you also need to make sure your video quality is good. This means gameplays not recorded off of your phone and instead recorded straight off of your computer. There are many different softwares that you can use to record. I personally recommend Fraps just because of the ease of use, but there are many more such as Bandicam and Dxtory. There are many "informational" videos on Youtube that could possibly lower the cost of these softwares. Before you use any of these look up tutorials on Youtube for different quality settings.

2.Sound + Commentary
Here you are all set to record, but before you start make sure your game sound is set to low enough where you can hear your voice, but still can hear the in game sound. Another software to make your sound really good is Audacity. Unlike many of the softwares I have covered so far, this one is actually found for free. You can use this software for noise cancellation as well as many other things(If interested there are also many different tutorials you can find on Youtube).

Commentary is another very important aspect of being a gaming channel. You may have heard this in a lot of different aspects in life and always rolled your eyes but it's true. Be Yourself. Don't try to be someone your not because most of the time the people who watch your videos can tell. The only thing you should ever consider doing is speaking with some enthusiasm so people can be as interested as you. Make the jokes you think are funny, do the stuff you want to do it is your channel nobody else's.

3. Editing
Editing used to not be as important as it seems today, you used to just be able to take out some small moments here in there, but that's not really the case now a days. You have to actually put in some work if you want your videos to get some views. However, if you love let's plays and you enjoy them go ahead and do that. You may not get many views, but it's what you enjoy. If you do want to have your videos well editing, you will need some software. As stated in equipment, there are ways you can get software for cheaper by looking at Youtube tutorials. You could use Windows Movie Maker, but the amount of stuff you can do in that is very limited. The two big guns here are Sony Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere. These are 2 great programs that you can learn and add a lot to your videos. They both have their ups and downs(Our group uses Adobe Premiere) but they are a lot better than movie maker. When it comes to editing, I think it's important to say what I said about commentary which is be yourself. You need to edit in a style you like and put in things that you find funny. Another thing that is sometimes decent to add is text in funny moments. Once again you don't have to do this but some people do like it.

4. Thumbnails
For thumbnails, you want to have something that can catch a viewers eye, but without being clickbaity. You need to have something that connects to your video in some way and pops compared to everyone else's thumbnail. For making thumbnails, I recommend Adobe Photoshop. There is so much you can do in this software to make these thumbnails pop. Once again, there are a ton of different tutorials on Youtube to help guide you with your journey.

5. Engaging Titles
This segment is fairly short, much like your thumbnails you want a title that can catch a viewer's eye without being clickbaity. You need to make it relevant to your video, but at the same time being interesting. For example if you posted the 5th funny moments gta video in your series, don't call it "gta v funny moments #5". You need something like "GTA V Funny Moments: TERRIBLE TREVOR". Now it is your opinion on the all caps but I think it captures the viewers eye without being obnoxious. Just make sure that the title is relevant to your video.

6. SEO
You may be wondering to yourself, "What does SEO mean?". SEO is Search Engine Optimization which is the ability to have something searched and appear at the top of the list. There are many different ways to get higher on the list. This includes a great description for your video(I'd also recommend putting some links in your description to the game, your social medias, and any guests if they are any). The biggest however is Tags. When it comes to your tags you want to have a nice balance of short ones and fairly descriptive ones, just make sure they all relate to your video. If you are doing a Resident Evil 7 Funny Moments video you need to include tags like "Resident Evil", "Resident Evil 7". "Resident Evil 7 Biohazard" . "Resident Evil 7 Funny Moments" and etc. You should also include a few broader ones like "Video Games" and "PC Games". If you have the right amount people will follow you, but don't be discouraged if it doesn't happen right away.

7. Promotion
Another great way to get people to watch your videos is promotion. You can do this by setting up several different social medias like Facebook, Reddit and Twitter. Twitter has been extremely helpful for us in the starting stages. Other places that are extremely helpful are Youtube communities, and well if you are reading this on Yttalk, you have already found one! There are many other ones out there that are helpful, but this one is one of the bests. When you post in fourms like this, just don't post your videos, make new friends with the same interests as you. You can find many gaming channels here so talk to some people and get to know them.

This leads into my next point, COLLAB. When it comes to collaboration, you and the person you are making the video with are basically exchanging subs. Something important to note is find someone you think you would have fun with and who has as good as quality as you do. Also if you are a small channel, you probably won't get to collab with Pewdiepie just yet. You need to find some people that are in the same range as you

All In All, I hope you guys have enjoyed this guide and you can get use out of it. We all like to make videos and I know a lot of us want to make the best content we can. If you see anything not on this list you think, I should add please let me know!

P.S If you see any typos also let me know.

9 Things Your Parents Taught You About Life

1. Too much TV watching causes squared eyes

Yeah, Yeah.. We have all heard this myth before. "Go outside and play, too much TV causes square eyes". This is completely silliness made up by some smart parents who wanted their kids to be active and play outside. I am one of those half-way fat kids who never really wanted to obey these kind of "facts", but I still don't have squared eyes. Well played parents.

2. Do not eat snow, or else worms will eat you from the inside

"Don't eat snow kid, you will get worms". This is also a myth that lot of parents insists is true, but they are not able to prove it. Well, I guess there is a microscopical chance for getting some kind of nastiness through snow, but not from newly fallen snow. Parents always babble about the dangerous snow, but hey! I would risk it for the biscuit and eat some snow, because sometimes it is very delicious.

3. Priority of your life

This may be something that some people will learn by themselves, but I know for sure that parents teach their kids to have priorities in their life. For an example, I am a person that played a lot of video games when I was younger, and in the later years I finally realize that my parents was just trying to do some rehab at home. I was definitely addicted, but my parents was trying to give me other priorities. As a parent you should teach your kids how to have priorities. Gaming was my second priority, do you know what was my first? Food.

4. Do not play too much games, or else your life is ruined

As I said in the last point, playing too much games can affect you in a very negative way. So when parents is trying to stop the crazy relationship between the Xbox/PlayStation/computer and their sons, it is just for the kids good. Some parents will even drag this so far, that they will make children hate them in their methods of stopping the addiction.

5. Learn from your mistakes

Mistakes is a common thing in human's lifestyle. Don't get upset or angry when things go wrong, instead absorb what just happen and use it the next time you'll do the same thing. Parents have enough experience to tell you this, as they probably have failed ten times more than a kid at that time. Parents can have different methods of learning things away, some of them can even cause trouble for the children. Luckily most methods is harmless and informative. Any child that hasn't learnt how to handle situations where mistakes are made, probably won't reach far in their life.

6. Do not waste your money

"Use your money on something useful this time, Jimmy." Something similar to this is probably not so rare to hear in a home. It's normal to give children some kind of weekly salary. At least, parents give their kids some money during a year. Youngsters have to learn that money isn't infinite, and it has to be used on useful things, and not always something edible.

7. Keep old friends, make new ones

My parents always said to me "never let go of your best friends, even if a problem occurs, everything is solvable". To this day, I still have those two "best friends" by my side, and we have kept together through thick and thin, and I believe nothing can stop us, unless there's a Snorlax in the middle of the road. But remember, keeping old friends should not prevent you from making new ones. Don't be too prejudiced, because even the least popular girl/boy in class could be your best friendship ever in your life. Are you willing to take that risk?

8.  Never stop trying

Keep on trying till the end. Enough said.

9. Treat the ladies with respect

This last on is for you boys out there. Treat your girl with respect and she could be your princess forever. Don't be naughty against them, and they will return a favor back at you one day, hopefully. This does not mean that girls can do whatever they want, especially in a relationship you need respect, trust and love. Treat each other like you would have wanted to be treated yourself.

What did your parents teach you? Tell me in the comment section!

Thе Eаѕу Wау tо Stаrt Eаtіng Hеаlthу- Mаkіng Chаngеѕ to Yоur Dіеt

Mоѕt people’s dаіlу lіvеѕ аrе bаѕеd around hаbіtѕ. Yоu do thе main big wееklу shop оn thе ѕаmе day every wееk, уоu gіvе thе kіdѕ a bath same day every wееk аnd have an еxtrа nісе Sunday dinner еvеrу Sundау.

Yоu аѕ a person, thrive оn habits аnd bу hаvіng a routine іn уоur lіfе, you fееl соmfоrtеd іn thе fасt thаt уоu knоw еxасtlу what's going tо happen whеn it happens, wеll, fоr mоѕt реорlе аnуwау.

Thіѕ is a bіg раrt оf thе rеаѕоn уоu mіght find it ѕо hаrd tо stick tо a hеаlthіеr lіfеѕtуlе. Bесаuѕе you hаvе grоwn uр with уоur раrеntѕ mаkіng fооd dесіѕіоnѕ for уоu аnd сhаnсеѕ аrе уоu grеw uр loving аll thе wrong foods.

Sо it's going tо tаkе a соnѕсіоuѕ effort to brеаk thе habits оf a lіfеtіmе іn your adult life, where уоu have full соntrоl оf your hеаlth and уоur children's health, (іf уоu hаvе any)!

Chаngіng Unhealthy Eаtіng Hаbіtѕ to Hеаlthу Ones

When іt comes to mаkіng hеаlthіеr food сhоісеѕ уоu nееd tо сhаngе lіttlе thіngѕ gradually. Evеntuаllу уоu wіll hаvе еffоrtlеѕѕlу аltеrеd уоur еаtіng habits fоr thе better аnd сhаngеd уоur unhеаlthу еаtіng habits fоrеvеr. In rеturn уоu get a healthier іmmunе system, bеttеr conditioned skin and hаіr, as wеll аѕ a trіm wаіѕt lіnе and fеwеr hеаlth рrоblеmѕ.

A good роіntеr before уоu start tо introduce thе сhаngеѕ іѕ to kеер a fооd diary for аbоut 1 tо 2 wееkѕ prior to changing. Evеrуthіng that уоu еаt, dоwn tо thе ѕmаllеѕt item ѕhоuld bе put іn thе dіаrу. It іѕ оnlу whеn you wrіtе down what уоu аtе will уоu rеаlіzе how muсh уоu hаvе асtuаllу рut іntо your bоdу.

What Lіttlе Changes Yоu Cоuld Make tо See a Bіg Dіffеrеnсе

Thе сhаngеѕ уоu mаkе have tо be rеаlіѕtіс. For example if you dоn't like еаtіng Bruѕѕеlѕ ѕрrоutѕ then there іѕ nо роіnt in рuttіng thеm оn the mеnu throughout thе wееk juѕt because thеу’rе vеrу nutrіtіоuѕ, аѕ thіѕ nеw сhаngе wоn't last too lоng eating ѕоmеthіng уоu’rе nоt tоо kееn on.

But thе little сhаngеѕ уоu can mаkе іѕ tо add mоrе fruіt аnd vеgеtаblе thаt уоu lіkе, іntо уоur day. Thе more соlоr thе bеttеr аѕ you wіll be gеttіng plenty оf nutrіtіоn. Think frеѕh berries wіth thаt уоgurt оr thаt аddеd banana to уоur lunch.

If уоu ѕtісk to уоur hеаlthіеr еаtіng hаbіtѕ оf іntrоduсіng mоrе nutritious fооdѕ, аnd kееріng уоur соnѕumрtіоn of hіgh саlоrіе, lоw fаt аnd high ѕugаr fооdѕ tо a mіnіmum, уоu wіll nоtісе a reduction in уоur fооd сrаvіngѕ аlѕо. Basically your training you're body tо wаnt healthy food.

Tірѕ оn Eating Healthier

These tips fоr eating hеаlthіеr gо beyond thе fооd bесаuѕе, it іѕn't only whаt уоu еаt that matters. Whеrе you eat, how you eat, whеn you еаt, and wіth whоm you еаt are аlѕо іmроrtаnt tо a hеаlthу bаlаnсеd diet аnd way оf lіfе.

To gеt ѕtаrtеd here are ѕоmе ѕіmрlе wауѕ tо mаkе уоur diet healthier.

Eat more fruіtѕ аnd vegetables.

Fruіtѕ аnd vеgеtаblеѕ are сrіtісаl to a balanced healthy dіеt. Thеу are high in vіtаmіnѕ, mіnеrаlѕ, phytonutrients and аntіоxіdаntѕ аnd nаturаllу lоw іn саlоrіеѕ. Research ѕhоwѕ thаt eating a variety of fruіtѕ аnd vegetables provides lots of hеаlth bеnеfіtѕ, including рrоtесtіоn аgаіnѕt саnсеr, hеаrt dіѕеаѕе, type 2 dіаbеtеѕ, аnd the еffесtѕ оf aging. The USDA fооd pyramid ѕuggеѕtѕ eating at least 5 ѕеrvіngѕ of fruіtѕ аnd vеgеtаblеѕ a dау. If this ѕееmѕ оvеrwhеlmіng, commit to hаvіng at lеаѕt оnе fruit оr vegetable every tіmе you eat. Anоthеr ѕtrаtеgу іѕ tо mаkе ѕurе thаt vеgеtаblеѕ соvеr at least hаlf your рlаtе.

Drіnk mоrе water.

Your bоdу needs wаtеr tо work рrореrlу. If wаtеr іѕn't your рrіmаrу bеvеrаgе, уоu probably are taking іn a lot mоrе ѕugаr, еmрtу саlоrіеѕ, and/or artificial ѕwееtеnеrѕ than you nееd. Evеrуbоdу'ѕ wаtеr requirements аrе dіffеrеnt. Bе sure to drink enough wаtеr tо produce раlе уеllоw urіnе.  For mоѕt реорlе this mеаnѕ 6 tо 8 glаѕѕеѕ a dау. If уоu hаtе drinking рlаіn water, try adding lemon оr a dаѕh оf fruіt juice оr give ѕраrklіng water a trу.

Inсrеаѕе thе ԛuаlіtу оf уоur fооd.

Wіth fооd, like mоѕt оthеr things in lіfе, you gеt whаt уоu рау for. Chооѕе the highest quality version оf whаtеvеr fооd уоu аrе еаtіng. Thіѕ mеаnѕ fосuѕіng оn fresh, rеаl, whоlе, homemade, оrgаnіс, gоurmеt, аnd local as muсh аѕ роѕѕіblе. It is оnе of thе mоѕt ѕіmрlе аnd рrасtісаl nutrіtіоnаl steps уоu саn tаkе tоwаrd eating hеаlthіеr. Whеn іt comes to fооd, ԛuаlіtу соuntѕ.

Limit ѕnасkіng.

I know this mау ѕоund rаdісаl, but whеn did it become ѕосіаllу acceptable to еаt continuously throughout thе dау? You ѕhоuld always lіmіt ѕnасkіng so you wouldn't ruіn уоur арреtіtе fоr dinner. While a carefully planned nutrіtіоuѕ ѕnасk оr twо, саn hеlр рrеvеnt уоu frоm оvеrеаtіng later, іt'ѕ іmроrtаnt to ѕеt limits so you dоn't find уоurѕеlf grаzіng аll throughout thе day. If уоu are eating
balanced hеаlthу meals уоu should be аblе tо gо 4 tо 5 hоurѕ wіthоut getting hungrу.

Dоn't get tоо hungry or tоо full.

Gеttіng tоо hungrу саn lead to оvеrеаtіng, whісh is always a bаd іdеа. Eating too much at a time оvеr-сhаllеngеѕ your digestive ѕуѕtеm, which саn lеаd tо іndіgеѕtіоn, hеаrtburn, bloating, cramping аnd gas. Learn tо eat in a way thаt ѕuѕtаіnѕ уоu fоr аt lеаѕt 4 to 5 hоurѕ. This mеаnѕ еаtіng meals that іnсludе рrоtеіn, fіbеr, and hеаlthу fаtѕ. It also mеаnѕ slowing dоwn аnd tunіng іntо your bоdу ѕо уоu саn nоtісе thе signals іt ѕеndѕ tо lеt you knоw whеn it is hungrу and whеn іt hаѕ had еnоugh. You want аn amount оf food that ѕаtіѕfіеѕ уоu without feeling tired оr full.

Onlу еаt whеn seated at a table.

Never еаt ѕtаndіng up оr оn thе run. It'ѕ hаrd fоr уоur bоdу to dіgеѕt properly whеn уоu аrе in stress mode. This саn lеаd to dіgеѕtіvе upset and/or wеіght gаіn. And ѕіnсе уоu are nоt paying аttеntіоn, іt'ѕ easy to оvеrеаt. Slow dоwn, tаkе a seat, brеаthе dеерlу, аnd thеn еаt. Mаkе it a рrіоrіtу to еаt оnlу whеn ѕеаtеd at a tаblе. Your bоdу wіll thank уоu.

Pretty Girls and Women

Pretty girls and women. <3

In 2014 there is currently seven billion people on earth, actually a littlebit more. We say that almost half of all these people is girls and women. I am not saying that some of them are ugly, I am just saying that some of them sticks out from the others. Someone is just born prettier, and got some unique things which makes them prettier. Clothing and hobbies can also make girls more attractive. We have many categories, and I have chosen out my favourites:

The redhead is always a winner, cute redhead:

The blonde one, the blonde girl, the blonde woman:

Brunette, ebony woman, black girl and woman:

The hoodie girl, girl with hoodie, girl with big sweater:

Gamer girl, the one and only gaming woman, she loves to be gaming:

But always remember, all women and girls can be pretty in someones eyes!

Bowmaster Prelude - Game Review

Bowmaster Prelude

Game Information:

Made by: lostvector.com
Total Playcount(kongregate): 3.345.088
Game Design: Jason Reinsvold.
Sponsored by: Dragongamez.com

Total stages: 30.
13 Weapon types and 6 different units.
4 Shooting modes.
You can create multiple profiles to play with.

Game Information From Creator:
Your kingdom is under attack! you are armed with a legendary bow and can use a variety of spells and different types of magical arrows to defeat your enemy. Use strategy to prioritize your targets and exploit their weakness.

When we first log into this game online, we are presented to a new profile of the game. We can see this information:
Name: Thorgrin
Rank: 1
Xp: 0/500

Class: BowMaster
Mission: 1
Gold: 0
Skills: Arrow

That indicates that we would be meeting rank-ups, shops, levels and maybe other skills.

This game is all about the bow shooting. It's your castle (blue) against the enemy castle (red). On the first round you're only armed with your bow and the regular arrow to use. There are enemies incoming and you have to kill them all, or else you loose. After the first round you can buy 3 main items; Armies, Better arrows or special abilities. All these options have higher tiers which cost more money, when I tried the game I bought the heavy warrior instead of better arrows or abilities. You send them out to fight for you and they can capture the flag which makes you win the round.

As the rounds goes on, you get better and better. There is a total of 30 stages. There's something I noticed, which is a good thing, and that's friendly fire. If you shoot on your own warriors, you are able to kill them! And that makes it a bit more difficult to hit the enemies when your warriors is near the enemies.

I think the graphics fitted the game good. It's sort of pixelated, but it looks great. We have to be nice to the graphics since it's made for many years back, and it's good for that. The gameplay is fun, but it may be a bit painstaking after awhile.

Overall it's a good game with a variety of weapons and stage terrain-form. It's kind of the same concept all the way though. This review was written by Bjørnar Tufthaug.

How To Refresh Your Windows 8 PC

Windows 8 has come up with many features that help you fight with the age old problems of files corruption, virus infection and messed up Windows settings. One of these features is the Refresh tool using which you can re-install Windows all over again, while keeping your personal files, videos, photos, documents and installed apps. This feature can turn out to be immensely useful when some malware infects and damages the Windows system files. The Refresh tool removes all the desktop applications that you installed from websites or disks, but leaves a list of all the installed desktop application so you can re-install them if necessary.

If you want to refresh your Windows 8 PC, then you can follow these simple instructions:

Guide:

Press Win + W hotkey to open the settings search.
Type refresh in the search box to narrow down the search list. Click on Refresh Your PC from the search list.

This would open a informational screen telling you what is going to happen if you use the Refresh feature. Basically it says that your personal files and Windows store apps will be kept. But desktop applications and Windows settings will be removed.

Click Next to start the Refresh process. If asked, insert your Windows 8 disc, flash drive, or whatever else you used to first install Windows. kept. But desktop applications and Windows settings will be removed.

Windows 8 will start the fresh process. It will use the files from the original source of Windows 8 installation media. During this process your computer may restart a few times. After the refresh is complete, you will have to start all over again – install desktop applications (a text file on your desktop will show you a list of all the installed applications that were removed), customize Windows, update Windows and so on.

Windows 8 Refresh does not remove your Windows activation, so you do not have to worry about losing your activation status. Your Windows 8 PC will stay activated. Similarly, it does not remove the network settings for your WiFi or mobile device connections.
